Location: Hamburg, NJ
Salary: $70,000-85,000/year
 
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain management and ISO compliance? We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our client's dynamic team and manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments like Finance, Sales, and Production to ensure efficient operations and uphold industry standards such as ISO 9001, ASC 9000, and ASME.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Planning: Monitor ERP signals (including MS Dynamics or similar systems) to adjust purchase orders and production schedules, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing costs.
     
  • Supplier Relations: Manage supplier communications, including quotes, orders, and performance evaluations, while identifying opportunities for new or improved supplier partnerships. Coordinate audits as needed.
     
  • Inventory Management: Track and report on inventory levels, ensuring they meet company targets for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
     
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales, Scheduling, and Production teams to maintain seamless information flow and contribute to decision-making processes that impact production and customer satisfaction.
     
  • ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, including ISO 9001, ASC 9000, and ASME, in all procurement activities.
     
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably with ERP systems (MS Dynamics or similar).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ASC 9000, and ASME compliance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
