We are seeking a Controller to join our team in the design and wholesale industry, located in Seattle, Washington. This hybrid role (primarily on-site) will focus on the integration of multiple entities and the improvement of business processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, system integration, and manufacturing cost accounting.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the integration of multiple entities within the company.

• Develop and implement standard processes for team setup and operation.

• Support the transition and integration of the Canadian entity to NSuite.

• Merge the New Hampshire entity with SEA and NSuite.

• Lead process improvement initiatives across the organization.

• Manage change effectively and efficiently.

• Utilize Hyperion for FX for the Canadian entity.

• Consolidate processes such as AP for both entities into just Seattle.

• Ensure the new processes are in place and functioning effectively.

• Implement and manage standard cost processes, especially in manufacturing contexts.

• Proactively communicate and provide regular updates to upper management.

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar capacity.
• Proficiency in System Integration and Support System Integration is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in Business Process Improvement and Continuous Process Improvement is essential.
• Experience in managing Process Improvement Initiatives and Process Improvement Projects is necessary.
• Familiarity with Project Management Process Improvement techniques and strategies.
• Strong skills in Change Management are required.
• Knowledge of Cost - Process, Cost - Standard, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Costs, and Manufacturing Cost Accounting is needed.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• The ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to achieve business goals.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is highly desirable.
