BCforward seeks a highly motivated Banking Operations Specialist for an opportunity in Milwaukee, WI
Position Title: Banking Operations Specialist 
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Anticipated Start Date: 12/30/2024
Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 12+ Months (Possibly for extension)
Job Type: Hybrid Role. Approximately 2-3 months training onsite. After which, in the office 3 days a week, 2 days at home. Preferred days are Tues-Thurs, but can be flexible if needed
Pay Range: $20/hr. to $21.42/hr.
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:
Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.
Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.
Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.
Verifies account entries, ensures total balance, and prepares to correct adjustments as needed.
Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.
Respond to telephone or written inquiries and perform research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers, or internal employees.
Responsible for placing and confirming open-ended mutual fund and money market trades on behalf of supported business lines and their respective clients. Communicate in a timely and effective manner with trust administration, investment officers, trade services, and other departments as required. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with mutual fund representatives and service providers.
The candidate will need to have minimal trading errors as the Bank will be liable. There is a minimum trade area goal so they will have to get through their queue, process accurately not miss anything, and then cross-check with
Their teammate.
They will be working with the Money Market Trading team through Microsoft Teams messaging and meetings. Will interact with internal clients only. This team will be switching to a new system so there is a volume increase due to this. Looking for someone interested in possibly converting as that is always the intention and may become available. There is also the chance of extension.

MUST HAVE - Attention to detail, Effective Communicator both in person and virtually, MS Excel proficient, Sense of urgency
NICE TO HAVE - Experience dealing with back-office operations and exposure to market finance through schooling is a plus.
Minimum education requirements - Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of Operations Experience demonstrating having to work with numbers and to what capacity. Finance experience preferred. Business accounting economics, math etc
