Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Springboro, OH
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

ProCare Therapy is thrilled to offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position in Springboro, OH. Join a supportive team and make a significant impact by enhancing communication skills for students in preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade.

Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time position in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.
  • Setting: Onsite, providing essential speech therapy services at an elementary school.
  • Focus: Assisting students from preschool through 1st grade, including those with IEPs.
  • Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of around 45 students.

What You'll Do:

  • Therapy Services: Deliver therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Manage Caseload: Provide individualized attention to approximately 45 students in preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to offer comprehensive support.
  • Monitor Progress: Document and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
  • Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

A Day in the Life:
Begin your day with a warm welcome from colleagues and students. Mornings may involve delivering customized therapy sessions to students, including those in preschool and early grades. Collaborate with teachers and parents during lunch to discuss strategies and progress, then continue with therapy sessions and planning in the afternoon. End each day feeling accomplished, knowing you've made a meaningful impact.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Ohio.
  • Experience: Experience in school settings preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage with diverse student populations.
