School-Based SLPA Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity

Position Overview: In this full-time role, you will provide direct speech and language services to students, assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), and track progress under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Youll be responsible for supporting students with a variety of munication challenges, helping them to overe barriers to learning and development. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is mitted to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy to students under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Implement and monitor IEPs, supporting students in meeting their speech and language goals
- Assist with screening and assessments to identify students needs and remend appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure a prehensive approach to student support
- Participate in IEP meetings when necessary, providing input on student progress
- Manage a diverse caseload, working with students from various backgrounds and age groups
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in the state (specific state license required)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong munication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to therapy and student support
