Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Location: Remote (Johnston, RI School District)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 16, 2025

Position Type: Part-Time (3 days per week, school hours) Independent Contract
Hourly Rate: $50-$55/hr - covers direct and indirect services; paid weekly
Caseload: Under 50 students
Grade Level: High School
Disabilities: Moderate to Severe

Job Overview:

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote role to serve high school students with moderate to severe disabilities. This position offers flexibility while still providing meaningful support to students in need of speech-language services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high school students, particularly those with IEPs, and be familiar with the ASPEN IEP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives for each student.
  • Conduct speech evaluations and assessments as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
  • Current Rhode Island licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Teaching/education credential through the RI DOE.
  • Experience working with high school students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Familiarity with the ASPEN IEP system is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
Additional Information:
  • Caseload: Under 50 students.
  • Work Schedule: 3 days per week during school hours.
  • You do not need to live in the state to apply, you need a license for the state you live in and the state you work in.
  • Term: The position will run through June 16, 2025, with potential opportunities for summer work or renewal for the following school year.
