QA Lead Inspector-aerospace

Job Description:
• Perform daily operations of the QA/Warehouse Department which may include, but are not limited to, quality inspection, shipping and receiving, and inventory control
• Write inspection plans
• Calibrate inspection equipment from gage blocks and maintain calibration records
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and government inspectors
• Coordinate handling of rejected parts with the Sales, Accounting, and Administrative Departments
• Act as customer liaison on quality issues and respond to customer complaints and corrective action requests as required
• Responsible for supplier and internal quality audits
• Develop and maintain supplier surveys to comply with AS9120 requirements
• Upgrade documents and procedures to comply with AS9120 requirements
