Additive Manufacturing Technician

The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling.
Job :
- Removing support structures.
- Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening.
- Prepping machines for operation.
- Material changeovers.
- 3D Printer operation and day
-to
-day maintenance. - Parts removal and cleanup.
- Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds.
- Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred.
- Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge and navigation of MS Office (Excel/Word).
- Some level of experience working with your hands. Uses some basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges).
- Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.
- Metal finishing techniques.
- CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
- Understanding of materials, properties, and laser welding.
- Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries.
- Self
-motivated and able to stay on task.
