Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr (based on experience)

About Us: Resource Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled Journeyman Pipefitter for our client in Fort Worth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large commercial construction projects across North Texas, with long-term growth potential.

• Fabricate with Precision: Create mechanical piping systems for commercial construction.
• Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Material Selection: Choose the appropriate types and sizes of pipe and related materials.
• Hands-On Assembly: Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes in various positions.
• Secure Installations: Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts; install hangers, supports, and valves.
• Quality Assurance: Perform leak tests to ensure system integrity.
• Team Leader: Supervise a crew of 6 to 10, coordinating tasks and ensuring safety compliance.
• Safety First: Maintain a clean work environment and fill out safety paperwork as required.

Requirements:

• Experience Needed: 4+ years in commercial pipefitting, with expertise in copper, stainless, and steel.
• Welding Skills: Proficient in Stick Welding and mechanical pipefitting.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and understand technical manuals, weld symbols, and blueprints.
• OSHA Certification: OSHA 10-hour preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written abilities are essential.
• Physical Capability: Able to work from ladders and man lifts at various heights.

Shift & Hours:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (start times vary by job site)
