ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our dedicated team in Farmington, ME. This is an exciting opportunity to implement evidence-based interventions and work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals.
Position Summary:
As a BCBA at ProCare Therapy, you will engage in comprehensive assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and provide direct support to students and their families. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students achieve their behavioral goals. We will discuss your specific caseload during the interview to ensure it matches your experience and interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and craft individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with students, families, and educators to implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Regularly monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Train and support paraprofessionals and other staff members in behavior management techniques.
- Work alongside school staff and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid BCBA certification.
- Completion of a Maine Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) is required.
- Proven experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
