Job DescriptionJob Description Aerotek is Hiring for Machine Operator Roles

Job Description

Responsible for the operation of multiple pieces of moderately complex manufacturing equipment. You will set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up, control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and start and stop equipment. Additionally, you will oversee product elegance and safety, conduct various quality checks, complete all required paperwork, and ensure adherence to company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple pieces of moderately complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
  • Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and start/stop equipment.
  • Oversee product elegance and safety.
  • Conduct various quality checks.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP, SOPs, and safety operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in machine operation.
  • Experience in packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a Machine Operator.
  • Experience in production.

Work Environment

This is a food manufacturing environment. It is generally cold, as the facility produces frozen pizzas, with the plant typically maintained at 40 degrees. The bakery area can be warmer, but the overall environment remains cool.
