Position Overview:
- Type: Full-time
- Location: On-site
- Rate: $23-32/hr
- Caseload: 1:1, moderate/severe
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care including administering medications and performing treatments under supervision.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, promptly reporting any changes.
- Assist in the creation and execution of individualized care plans.
- Perform routine procedures and offer education to students on self-care.
- Keep accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide emotional support to students and their families.
- Engage in quality improvement efforts and participate in continuing education.
- Uphold professionalism and ethical standards in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in Massachusetts.
- Proficient in nursing practices for various age groups.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and organized.
