Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a solid understanding of various insulation techniques and materials, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.

Duties

• Must have experience in insulating pipes and insulating blankets. 
• Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose in walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Apply plaster and stucco finishes as needed for aesthetic and functional purposes.
• Build and fabricate structures using metal stud framing techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation requirements for specific projects.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing insulation materials.
• Perform caulking tasks to seal gaps and improve energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation practices.
• Assist in construction estimating by providing insights on material needs and project timelines.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in insulation installation or related fields. Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, metal stud framing, blueprint reading, and the use of hand tools is highly desirable. A background in construction estimating will also be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential qualities for success in this role.
