Are you passionate about law and justice? Do you thrive on the thrill of a courtroom? If so, we are seeking an experienced Defense Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role is instrumental in our mission to deliver high-quality legal services and ensures that our clients receive the best defense possible. You will be working closely with our attorneys, providing crucial assistance in defense cases. Responsibilities:
As a Defense Paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
2. Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for defense cases.
3. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
4. Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
5. Meeting with clients, witnesses, and other professionals to discuss case details.
6. Helping lawyers during trials by handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing trial transcripts.
7. Managing and updating case timelines and deadlines.
8. Coordinating law office activities such as subpoena delivery.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Defense Paralegal.
2. A bachelor's degree in law or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
3. Proven experience and knowledge in civil defense law and legal procedures.
4. Strong research and report-writing skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
