We are searching for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Rockland County, New York. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an HR Generalist, you will be tasked with various responsibilities related to employee relations, compliance, staffing, onboarding, benefits administration, HR metrics and reporting, and bilingual support.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations, ensuring all actions align with company policies and procedures.

• Uphold compliance with all industry regulations and organizational policies and provide guidance on these matters as needed.

• Coordinate the staffing process, including advertising job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring all benefits are properly explained and processed.

• Develop, compile, and present HR metrics and reports, providing useful insights to management.

• Foster a positive work environment and boost employee engagement through various initiatives.

• Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.

• Utilize bilingual skills to provide support in both English and Spanish, broadening communication within the organization.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance regulations and best practices

• Demonstrable skills in managing and resolving Employee Relations issues

• Extensive experience in the Onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires

• Proficiency in HR reporting, able to generate and interpret valuable HR metrics

• Experience in Staffing, including recruitment, selection, and retention strategies

• Fluency in Spanish language, to effectively communicate with diverse employee base

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Proficiency in HRIS and other related HR technology systems

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) would be an advantage.
