Location: Pontiac, MI (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contract
Contract Duration: Immediate June 13, 2025

About the Role:

VocoVision is hiring two dedicated and qualified Virtual School Psychologists to provide essential psychological services for the Pontiac, MI School District for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This remote, full-time role involves supporting a K-12 caseload by offering a range of psychological services, assessments, and counseling to students across the district.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual psycho-educational evaluations for students
  • Provide both individual and group counseling to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address mental health needs
  • Attend IEP and 504 meetings to support student accommodations
  • Develop and assist with behavioral intervention strategies
  • Conduct crisis intervention as necessary
  • Offer consultation to school staff on mental health-related issues
Requirements:
  • License: Must hold an active School Psychologist License in Michigan (please provide a screenshot)
  • Experience: Experience working with K-12 students is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a virtual environment
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment: Must be passionate about working with a diverse student population
Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate: $43 per hour
  • Annual Salary Equivalent: Approx. $75,000 for a 10-month period
  • Note: This rate includes both direct and indirect services, and is non-negotiable
