Material Handler

• Material Handling:
• Receive, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished goods within the facility.
• Transport materials to and from production areas using manual or powered equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Stage materials for production orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking material movements in the inventory management system.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliations.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for optimal efficiency.
• Shipping and Receiving Support:
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments.
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Prepare and package items for outgoing shipments as needed.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Handle hazardous materials appropriately, following regulatory guidelines.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure material availability and smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Experience:
• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed to meet production demands.
