Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in San Diego, California. As an HR Manager, your primary responsibilities will include developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring our HR practices align with legal requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the quality of our workforce and boost productivity through effective HR management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HR strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of a quality workforce
• Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee performance
• Manage performance appraisal systems to boost productivity
• Handle employee relations and resolve issues to promote a harmonious workplace environment
• Oversee compensation and benefits plans to maintain competitiveness within the industry
• Stay updated with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
• Ensure compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local legal rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Manage the department’s annual budget effectively
• Keep abreast of the latest HR innovations and best practices to continuously improve our HR functions
• Utilize skills in ADP Workforce Now, Benefit Functions, Compliance, Employee Relations, Hiring Processes, External Communication, and New Employee Orientation• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Demonstrated experience in managing benefit functions
• Strong knowledge of compliance matters related to HR
• Proven ability to manage employee relations effectively
• Experience in developing and implementing hiring processes
• Excellent external communication skills
• Experience in conducting new employee orientations
