Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a locum tenens position offering diverse clinical experiences in a supportive setting.

Practice Setting:


  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Work alongside a team of 3 non-invasive cardiologists

Schedule:


  • 1-2 weeks per month, must be available for a full 7-day stretch
  • In-house Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Evening call from 4:30 PM until 7:30 AM
  • Weekend call starts Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM

Procedures and Cases:


  • Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, EKGs, and stress echo
  • Average of 10 inpatient admissions per day

Requirements:


  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Active New York state license
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Credentialing Requirements:


  • 30-60 days for credentialing process
