We are looking for a diligent Payroll Clerk to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. As a Payroll Clerk, your main focus will be on payroll preparation for a large team, along with other accounting responsibilities. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare payroll for a staff of 325 using Paycom

• Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using MIP/Abila

• Post Customer Receipts, Accounts Receivable, and Journal Entries

• Conduct cash reconciliations

• Generate Accounts Receivable invoicing

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively

• Handle accounting functions with precision

• Process accounts payable

• Carry out auditing tasks


• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Understanding of general Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is vital.

• Auditing skills are required.
