As a Quality Inspector you will:
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure effective communication regarding quality feedback and training for the production workforce.
- Conduct product inspections by adhering to written product specifications and recommended techniques. This includes first shot acceptance and hourly checks on each machine.
- Ensure that the first and last shots are retained and stored properly after a mold is pulled from a machine, marking the end of a production run.
- Verify that production and assembly lines comply with established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all measurement and support equipment operates accurately by following calibration protocols and initiating repairs as needed.
- Engage in technical discussions with other functional departments to facilitate collaboration.
- Provide training to the production team on quality control measures to enhance product standards.
- Stay updated on job knowledge through educational opportunities and regular training sessions.
- Promote safety, quality, and environmental awareness within the workplace.
- Ensure adherence to safe working practices and timely reporting of all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage.
- Perform special tasks such as sorting products, reworking quarantined lots, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
Pay Rate: $19/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
