BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Operations Specialist for an opportunity in Dallas, TX
Position Title: Operations Specialist (10 Key, Data Entry, Lockbox)
Location: Dallas TX 75207
Expected Duration: 6 Months
Pay : $15.35/hr
Job Description
ASAP start
Will work onsite all 5 days
This role is a potential contract to hire and will require resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future
Need to have strong keying skills
Previous Lockbox is helpful
strong attention to detail
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
first 2-3 hours will be standing scanning in packages from ATMS, Another Lockbox department that are shipped to them. Then the next 2-3 hours will be pulling requested checks from boxes to correct any discrepancies that are found
Using our standard applications and internal tools, the position requires employees to:
I. Perform daily receipt and content-validation of incoming packages of work processed through Financial Centers and ATM channels, and delivered daily via UPS
II. Perform basic accounting functions and reconcilement involving internal general ledger entries
III. Execute time-sensitive research of inquiries and transaction exceptions from various internal channels within tight deadlines
Candidate will work under the immediate supervision of a manager or Lead and is expected to meet established productivity and quality standards. Good attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position
REQUIRED SKILLS
*10-key skills, basic balancing and accounting skills
* Basic PC skills
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
*Strong written and verbal skills
*Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
*Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand for 2-5 hours per day
*Ability to exercise flexibility with work hours to ensure full work coverage (i.e. occasional extended hours driven by instances of unanticipated events).
