Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Randolph, NJ (In-Person)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (3-4 days per week)
Duration: December 2024 June 20, 2025 (End of School Year)
Population: Middle and High School Students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Provide direct support to students, including 1:1 therapy and group interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement behavior interventions across settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure success.
- Provide training and support for staff members in implementing behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including progress notes and behavior logs.
- Participate in meetings with school teams and provide professional development on behavior management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Experience working with middle and high school students is preferred.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and other professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of IEPs and working within educational settings is a plus.
