Are you a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to empower students across developmental stages with social-emotional and academic needs in a nurturing and supportive school environment?

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Fulton, CA area This full-time, in-person position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students in both elementary and middle school by providing them with prehensive support.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct prehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students across both elementary and middle school grade levels.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, counselors, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to support the success of students with diverse needs.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions and strategies to address learning challenges, social-emotional concerns, and behavioral issues in students across both elementary and middle school.
  • Design and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and interventions to promote positive behavior, emotional well-being, and healthy coping mechanisms for students in both elementary and middle school.
  • Consult with teachers and administrators on strategies to create positive and inclusive learning environments for students across both elementary and middle school.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers on strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional needs at their respective developmental stages.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing IEP goals and development plans for students.
  • Partner with families to provide support and resources for fostering social-emotional well-being and academic success in students of all ages.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school psychology for students across both elementary and middle school.

Guiding Students Through Growth:

This position allows you to play a vital role in shaping the foundation for social-emotional development and academic success for students as they transition from elementary to middle school. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where each student can reach their full potential.

Two Unique Opportunities:

This position offers the opportunity to work with two distinct student populations: elementary and middle school. We encourage you to specify in your resume which caseload you are most interested in (Elementary or Middle School), or if you are open to considering both.

Qualifications:

  • California State Licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students with social-emotional and academic needs in a school setting, preferably across both elementary and middle school levels, is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and learning theories.
  • Expertise in psychoeducational assessments, evidence-based interventions, and data analysis.
  • Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, general education teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in report writing, consultation, and program development.
  • A passion for helping students of all ages overe social-emotional and academic challenges, fostering emotional well-being, and promoting academic success in a supportive school environment.
