Legal Secretary

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the management and updating of our iManage software.
• Transcribe, format, input, and edit legal documents with high accuracy.
• Handle client communication via email professionally and promptly.
• Schedule and manage calendars for attorneys, ensuring efficient time management.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide coverage to attorneys as needed.
• Support with the input of attorney time and assistance with expense reports.
• Utilize skills in LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Dictation, and Documentation.
• Assist with legal assistant duties as required.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis and Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Familiarity with a Legal Management System
• Experience in billing functions within a legal environment
• Ability to manage and organize calendars effectively
• Proficient in transcribing dictations accurately
• Adept at creating and managing legal documentation
• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant
• Ability to conduct briefings and present information in a clear, concise manner
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Demonstrable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
