Job Description

• Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and repair production machines.• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to management.

Hard Skills
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude
  • Ability to change out a motor (480V)
  • Experience working in a highly automated, production environment, preferably food and beverage manufacturing
  • Knowledge of conveyor systems, PLCs, and automation

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Denison, Texas.

Work Environment

The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. Shift Hours: 3rd shift preferred for less experienced hires due to the specific skills required for reassembling equipment after sanitation. More experienced hires may be considered for day shift. Main priority is staffing 3rd shift. Shifts: 1st - 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, 2nd - 2:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday, 3rd - 10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday. Standard weekly schedule includes 5 hours of overtime, one day off during the week (varies), and every other weekend off.
