Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in New York. This role is primarily focused on providing administrative support within the human resources department.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain documents in a systematic manner
• Provide support to the human resources department through efficient filing of documents
• Ensure all paperwork and records are updated and filed accurately
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Utilize basic office skills to enhance efficiency and productivity within the department.• Proficiency in basic office skills including but not limited to filing, typing, and data entry.
• Excellent ability to use office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and scanners.
• Proven experience in using office software including Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective correspondence with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all assigned tasks.
• Proven experience in maintaining and updating filing systems.
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience in handling incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate person.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company information.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certification in Office Administration is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients and staff.
