Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Location: Helotes, TX

Start:24/25 School Year

Type: Full Time, Onsite

Caseload: Varying

Position Overview:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the munication and language development of our students. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address speech and language disorders, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments to identify munication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • TX state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
