Paraprofessional | Caldwell, ID | Full-Time Position for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Position Summary:

  • Title: Paraprofessional
  • Location: Caldwell, ID
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday during school hours

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers by preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and ensuring a productive learning space.
  • Individual Student Guidance: Offer one-on-one or small group support for students, especially those requiring additional academic or behavioral help.
  • Behavioral Encouragement: Apply positive reinforcement strategies to create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with teachers, staff, and administrators to promote students' educational, social, and emotional growth.
  • Student Engagement: Help students with daily transitions, participation in activities, and social interactions.
  • Family Communication Support: Aid teachers in maintaining communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional studies in education or child development are a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
