Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Filling Technician to operate Blow Fill Seal machines and ensure the production of high-quality products in a sterile manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and tearing down machines, performing basic adjustments, and monitoring production output for consistency and quality. The Filling Technician will also maintain a clean workspace, follow safety guidelines, and record accurate production data.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Blow Fill Seal machines under the supervision of experienced operators and team leads.
  • Set up and tear down machines as per the production schedule.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and assist in troubleshooting simple equipment issues.
  • Monitor production output for quality and consistency, ensuring product integrity.
  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of products to meet quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including cleaning machines and tools.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, SOPs, and GMPs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Record and maintain accurate production data (e.g., batch records, logs).
  • Communicate any quality or equipment issues to the Level 2 operator or supervisor.
  • Participate in training and development activities to progress to the next operator level.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with filling machines and aseptic environments.
  • Previous injection mold experience.
  • Experience in sterile work environments.
  • Understanding of GMP standards and machine setup.
  • Experience with blow fill seal (BFS) technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sterile filling manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical, pharmaceutical, or food industries.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior operators.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment

This role is based in a sterile, cleanroom environment with air conditioning. We operate on three shifts: 1st shift (6 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm), and 3rd shift (10 pm - 6:30 am).

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tamarac, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $90000.00
