Paraprofessional Positions Available K-12 Classrooms

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking passionate and experienced paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in K-12 classrooms. Multiple full-time positions are available, with assignments tailored to applicant preferences and experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary by assignment)
• Start Date: Interview on December 2nd, 2024, with a start date soon after

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a classroom assistant to support students with IEPs
• Provide one-on-one academic support and facilitate small group instruction
• Assist with record-keeping for academic and behavioral progress
• Supervise students during unstructured times (lunch, free time, field trips, etc.)
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to meet student needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have clearances from the state Department of Education
• Prior experience in schools preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting pay: $17+/hour (based on experience and responsibilities)
• Weekly pay via W2 contract
