Electrical Technician
Adecco is hiring for an Electrical Technician with VFD systems experience in Hobbs, NM. As an Electrical Technician specializing in VFD systems, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VFD systems, including those from leading manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation. Your expertise will ensure that our systems operate efficiently and reliably, contributing to the overall success of our projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission VFD systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on VFD systems. Diagnose and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients regarding VFD systems.
System Upgrades: Assist in system upgrades and modifications, integrating new technologies and enhancements as required.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including system configurations, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with VFD systems, including ABB, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, VFD technology, and related components. Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and manuals.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
Certification: Relevant certifications in electrical systems or VFD technology are preferred.
Education: Technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
