Location: Clackamas & Happy Valley

Job Type: Full-time

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and repair issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
  • Previous apartment/residential facilities maintenance experience.
  • Previous construction and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Must be fully able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to measure and calculate materials needs based on those measurements.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Stand or walk frequently throughout work shift, and occasionally sit.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 21-50 pounds occasionally; 10-20 pounds frequently; 51+ pounds infrequently.
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, squat.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
