Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) South Boston, VA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in South Boston, VA, for the remainder of the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with elementary students and make a meaningful impact in their educational journey.

Position Details:
  • Start Date: January 2025
  • End Date: End of the school year
  • Schedule: Full-time, 4 days per week, 30 hours total
  • Caseload:
    • Elementary students across multiple schools
    • Approximately 30+ students, with additional evaluations in progress
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as case manager for speech-only students, managing IEPs and therapy plans
  • Conduct speech-only evaluations, including observations and coordinating Educational Reports with general education teachers
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, both virtually and in person as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Qualifications:
  • Active Virginia SLP license
  • School-based experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
