Join us at Xtreme Collision Repair as our Office Administrator

Why join us? This role is an integral part of our team, where you'll be the first point of contact for customers coming in after a collision. Your ability to handle multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and showcase empathy will be crucial in ensuring our customers feel supported during a potentially stressful time.

Salary: $52,000 - $65,000 / year ($25 - $31.25/Hour)
Hours: 8:00 -5:30 Monday - Friday
Benefits: Full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO) after 90 days

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in an automotive, autobody, or related industry.
  • Familiarity with basic office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Experience with customer management systems (CMS) or industry-specific software is beneficial.

2. Customer Service and Communication Skills

  • Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to answer and direct calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, insurance representatives, and team members.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts in a courteous, professional manner.

3. Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail

  • High level of organization to manage multiple tasks, including opening and closing customer files, tracking claims, and updating insurance information.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in data entry, file management, and communication with customers and insurance companies.

4. Technical Skills

  • Willingness and ability to learn Nexius (or similar autobody management software) for handling customer files and records.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, file management, and internet navigation.

5. Professionalism and Adaptability

  • A positive attitude, with a professional and friendly demeanor toward customers and coworkers.
  • Adaptability to learn new skills, such as estimating repairs and checking in vehicles.
  • Ability to handle the dynamic pace and environment of an autobody shop.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in an autobody shop or knowledge of the auto repair process.
  • Understanding of insurance claims processes and terminology.
