Jackie Meza with Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a well-established company in Manteca. This role centers around managing and reconciling accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections, as well as maintaining general ledger. Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Oversee credit and collection processes to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debts.

• Maintain and update general ledger activities.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency.

• Oversee the account reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances.

• Generate and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to record, analyze, and manage financial data.

• Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations is required
• Should have a strong understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Must be able to handle Month End Close operations effectively
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
• Must demonstrate high attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is a plus.
