Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Worker to join our team in a food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling bulk products, placing products on the production line, and ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. This role requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Handle bulk product and place product on production line.
  • Operate infeed product to cookers.
  • Manually feed product to conveyor belt.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and good housekeeping practices.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner; wear appropriate PPE as required for the task and follow all JSAs, SOPs, and SSOPs.
  • Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all business activities with employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance; must be available to work any shift, overtime, or holidays as required, and may be required to cover the absence of other personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in production, general labor, packaging, food manufacturing, machine operation, and packing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work weekends.

Work Environment

The position is based in a food manufacturing environment. You will be required to adhere to strict safety and cleanliness standards, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The role may involve working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Gate, California.
