Job DescriptionJob Description
Purpose:To assist with the day-to-day operations within a Digital Imaging Center, focusing on digital imaging and related duties.
Scope:This operational role is accountable for managing all aspects of digital imaging and scanning, ensuring that contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and that customer orders are completed according to specifications.
Essential Functions:
  • Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process.
  • Check physical documents for quality issues that may complicate the scanning process.
  • Prepare a variety of document types and conditions for scanning.
  • Index scanned images according to naming conventions outlined by the customer and/or RDIC leadership, including additional post-imaging services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Physical Demands:
  • Minimal to moderate physical effort is required, including moving boxes and loading paper into machines.
  • Project preparation and scanning tasks will require finger dexterity and movement between machines for different document types.
Mental Demands:
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to teach others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend information quickly and demonstrate mental acuity.
Education Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer service environment.
Candidate Background:Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Proven data entry experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data management programs.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to focus on assigned tasks.
  • Capability to handle and manage large volumes of individual documents carefully.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and adapt when priorities change.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
Operational Soft Skills:
  • Strong planning, organizing, executing, and controlling skills.
  • Ability to assess issues, define causes, and prioritize/execute solutions.
  • Self-initiative and results-oriented while being a team player.
