Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician to join our team in Boyd, TX for the 2024-2025 school year. The position offers full-time hours, with a caseload of approximately 80-90 students across elementary and intermediate grade levels. We are open to hybrid candidates, but please note that this position is not virtual.
Responsibilities:
- Student Evaluations: Conduct prehensive educational assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning disabilities, giftedness, and other special education needs.
- IEPs: Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring pliance with state and federal regulations.
- Consultation: Provide expert guidance to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs, acmodations, and strategies for educational support.
- Documentation: plete thorough, accurate documentation of assessment findings, evaluations, and IEPs, ensuring pliance with legal requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with school staff and families to monitor student progress and adjust educational plans as necessary to support student success.
- Report Writing: Prepare and submit assessment reports in a timely manner to support educational planning and placement decisions.
Requirements:
- Certification: Must be a licensed Educational Diagnostician with appropriate state certification.
- Experience: Previous experience working as an Educational Diagnostician is preferred, particularly with elementary and intermediate-age students.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of educational evaluation procedures, special education laws, and IEP development.
- munication: Excellent written and verbal munication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators.
- Location: Candidate must be willing to work onsite in Chico, TX and mute to Bridgeport, TX on Fridays.
