Customer Service Representative

We are in search of a Customer Service Representative for a 3-month contract at a busy equipment supplier- located in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where the selected candidate will be a key player in maintaining customer satisfaction. The role will primarily involve processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and managing customer inquiries in the credit department.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure clear and positive communication of our credit policies and procedures to both external customers and fellow employees.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, physical mail, and fax communications, gathering information related to customer inquiries.
• Manage the department inbox consistently which includes emails, and Salesforce ticket system.
• Assign inquiries to the appropriate Credit Department person (Rep, Analyst, or Manager) ensuring timely responses.
• Update records in all systems as required and direct internally.
• Deliver excellent customer service by setting up new customer accounts, assisting with payment processing, and facilitating promotions.
• Guide customers to our payment portal, providing support and training within the platform for invoices and payments.
• Act as a liaison with operations regarding discrepant customer documents when requested.
• Develop positive relationships with the Sales, Parts, Service, and Rental teams.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have skills in Answering Inbound Calls, Call Center Customer Service, Customer Service, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Microsoft Word, and Schedule Appointments. We look forward to welcoming you to our team.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing effective customer service• Prior experience in a call center customer service environment
• Strong skills in data entry with high level of accuracy
• Excellent written communication skills for email correspondence
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
