Overview

Pay: $20-26 per hour, based on experience.

Shift: M-Th, 6am - 4:30pm

We are looking for a highly skilled Painter with expertise in applying finishes to a diverse range of substrates. The ideal candidate will excel in both production work and creative projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support the application of liquid coatings using HVLP spray equipment and the Matthews line of acrylic polyurethane paints and coatings.
  • Maintain quality standards in the paint application process.
  • Precisely apply various masking materials.
  • Inspect surfaces to be sprayed to ensure they are finished to a level that will not contribute to quality problems after coating.
  • Understand and interpret fabrication shop drawings to apply proper colors and finishes.
  • Create samples to be used in the approval process.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with spray gun paint on metal.
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Capability to read, understand, communicate, and interpret written and verbal instructions.
  • Capacity to stand up to 8 hours a day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with painting and powder coating.
