Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the beautiful city of Morgan Hill, California. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of functions across the human resources spectrum, including maintaining employee records, managing recruitment and selection processes, and ensuring legal compliance. You will be joining a team that values communication, employee relations, and compliance within the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate recording, maintenance, and reporting of human resource information.
• Oversee and manage the human resource database and ensure all new hire information is accurately entered and cross-checked.
• Foster management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues promptly.
• Ensure the company remains legally compliant by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
• Implement and maintain the company handbook and job descriptions.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including preparing recruitment lists and job postings, and conducting employee orientations and onboarding.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance.
• Maintain the company's pay plan and benefits program, and assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Establish and maintain professional working relations with applicants, visitors, callers, and business professionals.
• Provide decision support to management through HR metrics.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian and HCM software
• Experience in handling benefit functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards
• Experience in managing employee relations
• Proficiency in hiring processes
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
