We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, installation, and repair of industrial machinery. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring proper alignment and operation, and performing welding and fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment/machinery
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V
• Work with photo eyes, sensors, and switches
• Install, replace, and maintain VFDs
• Install and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Interpret blueprints and schematics
• Perform welding, brazing, and burning operations
• Install conduit, fittings, switches, relays, controls, fixtures, motors, equipment, and wiring
• Install, swap out, replace, and wire 3-phase motors
• Work with valves, bearings, and gearboxes
• Repair conveyors and spray booths
• Set up and operate lathe to grind various process rolls

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with occasional overtime required. You may need to cover for 3rd shift as needed. The manufacturing facility features a mix of new and old equipment, including conveyor systems and spray booths. We operate in a union environment with around 28 employees on the production floor and 5 in maintenance. This facility has been in operation since the 1950s and prides itself on the level of trust and communication with employees. We have a strong safety culture and work in the consumer, construction, and automotive industries.
