Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Specialist to join our client’s team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from our client’s customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
  • Analyzing customer financial situations and proposing suitable solutions for debt repayment.
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to accounts.
  • Providing exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and resolve customer issues.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and collection efforts.

Qualifications:
 
  • Proven experience as a B2C Collections Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
