The welder will work alongside fitters (fabricators) to make precision welds on military parts. The candidate will need to adhere to Military 22D standards, which can be strict. However, basic skills are sufficient as training will be provided. The role involves only welding tasks initially, without any fitting responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Perform precision welds on military parts according to Military 22D standards
- Work with MIG or TIG welding initially, with potential cross-training in other welding types
- Utilize customer drawings to perform welding tasks
- Handle production welding with many repeat jobs
- Minimum 1-2 years of prior welding experience or equivalent trade school experience with a weld test
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
- Ability to understand weld symbols and customer drawings
- Familiarity with robotic welding and sub arc welding
- Knowledge of military standards

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30/3pm, with half-day Saturdays encouraged and other overtime options available. Most employees work approximately 50 hours per week.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
