We are offering a contract opportunity for a Temp Accounting Consultant based in Inglewood, California. This role primarily revolves around accounting functions within the non-profit sector.


Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Take charge of bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Provide assistance in month-end close functions.

• Post journal entries into the general ledger and perform account analysis.

• Prepare and create comprehensive financial documents.

• Display analytical ability to compile various financial reports.

• Communicate effectively in writing and orally with team members and stakeholders.

• Participate and contribute to special projects as needed.

• Reconcile trial balance to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required
• Experience in account reconciliation is necessary
• Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is a plus
• CPA or CMA certification would be advantageous.
