Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in New Brunswick, New Jersey for a Cyber Security Engineer. This role primarily involves ensuring the security measures of the organization's IT systems, networks, and data are well-designed, implemented, and maintained. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be expected to identify potential threats, monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure that we are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security measures to protect IT systems, networks, and data
• Monitor security systems and identify potential threats
• Respond promptly to security incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance
• Use Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Technologies for security measures
• Implement and manage Cloud Technologies and Firewall Technologies for added security
• Conduct AB Testing to improve the security measures
• Perform Auditing to ensure all security measures are in place and effective
• Utilize AWS Technologies for added security
• Execute Configuration Management to maintain the security of IT systems.• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role in information security
• Strong knowledge of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA is required
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is highly desired
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies, including AWS Technologies
• Proficiency in Firewall Technologies to ensure data security
• Experience with AB Testing to enhance system security
• Understanding of Configuration Management for maintaining network security
• Proven ability in Auditing and maintaining audit trails for cyber security incidents
• Comprehensive knowledge of current Cyber Security trends and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documenting
• Relevant certifications in Cyber Security will be considered an advantage
