Support Students Across K-12 in Scenic Homer, Alaska

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive district in Homer, AK. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Homer, AK
  • Grade Levels: K-12
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: ASAP through May 22, 2025
  • Work Model: Onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students mental health and well-being.
  • Consult with school staff to implement behavioral and academic strategies tailored to individual students.
  • Participate in crisis management and support services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Alaska School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
