Position: Ink Technician
Rate: $24.23/hr
Shift: Rotating shifts; 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm; 11pm - 7am; rotate every four weeks.

The Ink Technician position reports directly to the Plant Superintendent.

What you'll be doing:
  • Dispense and blend printing inks.
  • Organizes inks for press runs.
  • Preform press-side color-matching.
  • Utilize color computer software to assist in daily work.
  • Returns inks from press to appropriate area.
  • Assists in reducing "work-off" inventory.
  • Maintains inventory control standards.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


We'd love to hear from you if:
  • Must have ability to effectively and accurately distinguish color.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure , using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Basic math and logic test will be administer previous to job offer.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employee organizations.
  • Ability to understand job and how it effects the company is essential to success. 3-month training program will be administered with knowledge and skill certification required in first 6 months. Annual recertification of knowledge and skills is required.
