Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities include receiving and unloading shipments of seed corn, sorting and organizing products in the warehouse, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The ideal candidate will maintain strong attention to detail and quality, operate within safety guidelines, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. On-the-job training will be provided. Power washing empty totes will be part of your daily tasks as well.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and unload shipments of seed corn.
  • Sort and organize products in the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Operate within safety guidelines and job requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Skills
  • General labor skills.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on feet for an 8-hour shift.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled and requires the use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear buds.

This is a Seasonal position based out of Ames, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
